  • 2020

Walking the huge beaches at Rhossili and Llangennith after a fun week of mountain biking, golf, rock climbing, metal detecting, running and all the things we do if we’re given time to do them. The wild ponies are out and about.

  • Detecting

It’s Christmas Day. Oh what have I done? I’ve bought Kim a metal detector. A gift that may mean she roams the beaches of the earth until the end of times. As long as she’s happy.

  • Sneaking Outdoors

There’s a gap in between the storms so we’re getting outside to try and get on some dry rock. It’s a familiar struggle at this time of year. To the beach!

  • I got the flu

Vlog with flu. What to talk about? How about the flu?

  • New Bike

Not my new bike, but Annabel’s new bike. Finally she has grown big enough for a full size mountain bike and that’s what we wanted. Let’s go for a little, chilly test ride first.

  • A premature baby

Annabel’s birthday is coming up and like all parents we reminisce back to when she was born. Annabel was born prematurely so we were caught unprepared.

  • Teaching Truths

It’s in the title. We’re going to try and climb outdoors by the sea in a short dry spell, and talk about some of the truths of teaching on the way.

  • Holidays vs Work

We’re back to the grindstone after a few days away from work and back in South Wales. Is taking time off work difficult? I bought Kim’s bike a present – some new hydraulic disk brakes. See Kim’s website here: www.everystitch.co.uk

  • The Bloomery

There’s one geocache that we haven’t found in the Coed Y Brenin Forest Park and we’ve got a couple of trackable items that we picked up in South Wales. Let’s try and put them together. And leave the kids in the cottage to recover.

  • Jack’s Turn

We’re in the Coed Y Brenin Park for some family mountain biking, running, autumning, and stuff. Jack wants to have a crack at the blue route. Will he survive?
