  • Go see the sea

I miss the sea so we’re going for an appropriately social distanced family ride just to see the sea. And smell the sea. If it smells sea-ey today. Also, a little virtual reality stuff and thoughts.

  • Shooting stars

Mountain biking locally every other day in a sunny spring is great. The kids like to be stuck indoors during this lockdown, so it’s even harder getting them out than usual. Annabel loves her mountain bike though so maybe now is the time to start practising some trail skills? Also, a meteor shower.

  • Staying at home is nice

Is this the 4th week at home? My mind and body have found a new normal, and they’re both happy and settled with staying at home. • Isolated Surfing

The weekend before the UK gets locked down we get out to a huge empty beach and sit in the sea alone, surrounded by nothing. Except mushy waves. And Kim goes metal detecting.

  • Feelings?

It has been a bit of a week, this week, so let’s go for a run, chill out a bit, and reflect on what’s going on right now.

  • Self Promotion

A running vlog talking about mental health, confidence and state of mind as much as anything else. And we do get some climbing in this week, although this tide seems to have other ideas. I need to spend more time outdoors.

  • Snatching a climb in February

The weather is off and on and we need a bit of adventure, so we’re going to try and nab a rock climb outdoors at Rhossili before the rain hits. It’s all very grey.
