Still trying to surf
The sun! The sun! It’s sunny! Quick, more surfing! Also repairing the @tweetypibirdbox and Kim gets some boulder problems ticked off.

Do you get cold when surfing on snowy days?
The weather’s not great but for some reason I though getting into the sea when the Gower was freezing might be an interesting idea. The sea is warmer than the air right now after all. Right?

If you want to see rainbows you have to go out in the rain
Rhossili rainbows. It’s a wet and windy Welsh weekend with family visiting. Rhossili always looks epic in big weather, so let’s take them to the beach. Great idea. Sit back and enjoy the scenery from the warmth of your internet connection.

First time surfing ever
The mid-life crisis has kicked in and we’re going to attempt to surf. It’s what you do if you live by the Gower – everyone around here surfs! Learning to surf, in Wales, in January. Nuts, surely?

Landslide at Oxwich, Gower
A new, huge rock fall and collapse of a sport climbing cliff has affected the boulders at Oxwich. We’re going to check out the changes and see what’s still intact. Also, caves at Port Eynon, a visit to Culver Hole, and a wee bit of big boot rock climbing.

Starting the year with rock climbing
Trying to put off the back to work blues, we climb indoors when it’s super cold and get onto outdoor rock when it’s dry. The focus for this year might be strength.

Porpoises or dolphins? Winter rock climbing at Rhossili.
A gap in the rainy days mean we might be able to get some outdoor winter rock climbing in. There’s a big wind blowing though and it’s cold! We often see seals in the sea at Rhossili, but some larger marine mammals are also fishing here today.
