Hot on the heels of the Xbox 360 is the press release of official details of the next generation Playstation, due on the shelves Spring 06. It looks incredibly powerful, and Sony are already showing off some game demos. This box *will* have a Blue-Ray high-definition DVD drive, outputting 1080p gaming. It has a load of generic outputs (USB2, Bluetooth, SD, compact flash and Sony memory sticks, 2xHDMI(?)) unlike Microsoft’s mean, Xbox specific ports that force you to buy MS branded kit.
