The Cardiff Triathletes’ had a swim coaching day from Robin Brew today. We had a couple of seminar sessions and a couple of sessions in the pool, and a breakdown of our strokes by video analysis. It was a long day from 11am to 7pm, and I’m knackered, but I learnt a lot about swimming, and have plenty of tips to work on which will make my freestyle more efficient.
Roll those hips, press don’t pull, recovery arm catching up, head down, breathe at the end of the underwater stroke, recovery hand closer to the water, don’t stretch so far…
