Can I do this?
A spell of dry weather unexpectedly leads to trying to climb a route I’ve been wanting to tick off for years. And not just tick off – the moves are pretty good fun on it and it’s normally wet. It’s a very steep challenge though.
We’re climbing regularly again and it’s nice just to relax into some chilled sport cragging by the sea some days. Most days. Every day if I could.
A fear of failing can hold you back and has been holding me back this year. What can you do about it? And not just in climbing.
Did I get any good 3D prints from the UV resin SLA printer? Also falling off rock climbs again, but at least we’re getting out as a storm blows across Wales.
It has been 150 days since I was last allowed in work, in my office, or in the lab. Today I get to go back to the university campus.
The *current situation* means that lots of people are coming to Wales this summer. This is a good thing. Let’s see if we can keep out of their way and find somewhere on the Gower quiet to climb. I think I know a place.
We went away for a week to a very, very quiet place in the Scottish Highlands for kayaking and bouldering. And for the quiet.
We’re out and about again (carefully) and can do most of the things that we like doing. So why do I wish I could go to work?
We can travel again! We can go to our Gower climbing spots!
