The mid-life crisis has kicked in and we’re going to attempt to surf. It’s what you do if you live by the Gower – everyone around here surfs! Learning to surf, in Wales, in January. Nuts, surely?
A new, huge rock fall and collapse of a sport climbing cliff has affected the boulders at Oxwich. We’re going to check out the changes and see what’s still intact. Also, caves at Port Eynon, a visit to Culver Hole, and a wee bit of big boot rock climbing.
Trying to put off the back to work blues, we climb indoors when it’s super cold and get onto outdoor rock when it’s dry. The focus for this year might be strength.
Let’s do some new stuff this year, and let’s take advantage of the awesome local geography in South Wales.
Also, let’s see if we can get some bouldering done outdoors even though its freezing right now.
