Big Day Out in Southern Snowdonia
This is a bit of a big one. We went up in the hills in southern Snowdonia after a big circuit of 25+ geocaches hoping to get our total up to 300. It was a long, tough day out. How many did we find?

Wild Snowdonia Family Rock Climbing
Another climbing outing while staying in North Wales over the Easter holiday. This time we visit a wilder spot at the end of a valley and climb a gritty diff with some fantastic quiet views. Except for the RAF making a fair bit of noise chasing each other around.

Barmouth Slabs (cycling over the Barmouth bridge & family rock climbing)
More from southern Snowdonia. I cycle across the famous 100-odd year old 900m long wooden rail bridge to Barmouth and we go looking for Barmouth Slabs to do a little but of rock climbing and see some huge Snowdonia views. There might be a geocache hidden around somewhere too.

Windy Boiler Slab rock climbing (Gower)

Gower family rock climbing
Spring is here, the weather is good, so we’re off out to the Gower for the first weekend of rock climbing of the year. There are a few family friendly crags, so we visit West Tor between Oxwich and Three Cliffs Bay, which is on the beach and has a handful of low difficulty routes.…

Another sunny day in South Wales. Tired from triathlon training but taking advantage of both the weather and the low tide we visit Port Eynon.
-
Mothers Day – Gower Walking
Rare, spring sun and warmness so we’re out for more walking by the sea. Whitford Point on the Gower.
-
Gower Walking – Southgate
This week we’re out on the cliffs at Southgate on the Gower. Great, spring weather for a change! The dolphins seem to like it too.
