This was how I ended Saturday evening’s fishing. This little 7 pound common took 20 mins to land on my light float tackle. There’s loadsa fun to be had from all these hard fighting commons in the Crippetts. I had a couple of these, and a nice sore arm the next morning 🙂

I spent my weekend on a sunny lake, catching loads of bream and carp on light float tackle with dog food, corn, luncheon meat and chick peas, watching carpers sleeping behind their bite alarms. I definitely had the most fun.
